Donations
Thank you for your interest in our vehicle donation program. Donating your vehicle to St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore can help fuel our mission, while providing you with a tax deduction and the good feeling you get when you help those in need. The process is fast and easy! We accept cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, motorcycles, boats, trailers, and RV’s in any condition. We will arrange free pick up and towing. Call 410-662-0500, ext. 201.
Please have your vehicle’s title and lien release in hand when you call 410-662-0500, ext. 201. You will complete a short intake form over the phone and your vehicle will be scheduled for pick-up within 24 hours. The IRS requires that we collect the social security number of donors wishing to take a tax deduction for their vehicle so please be prepared to furnish this information.
Be sure to remove all personal items from the vehicle and remove your license plates immediately prior to the vehicle being picked up by St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore. Please remember to return the tags to MVA on/or before the date you cancel your insurance to avoid an Uninsured Motorist penalty.
All vehicles donated to St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore are sold at auction. It may take up to 45 days to sell your vehicle at auction. When the vehicle is sold, you will receive an acknowledgement of the amount of the sale. Donors may deduct up to $500 for vehicles that sold for under $500 and may deduct the actual selling price for vehicles that sold for over $500.
