Full-time and Part-time

  • Bilingual Victims Advocate/Case Manager -- responsible for providing crisis intervention and support services to Latina victims of domestic violence. These services include connection to local and appropriate resources, interpretation/translation, mentoring and support, advocacy with DSS and other service institutions, basic legal advocacy, and other general support services.  Full time position: 40 hours/week; 9 am – 5 pm; flexibility required due to some evening programming. Competitive salary and full benefits package, which includes paid holidays, annual, sick and personal leave, health insurance with vision & prescription drug plans, dental insurance, life insurance, short & long term disability coverage, pension and 403(b) retirement plans.
    Part time position: 20 hours/week

  • Evening and Overnight Shelter Workers -- responsible forregistration , organization, and supervision of guests of the shelter including overseeing meals, showers and laundry services; HS diploma and good communication skills required. 
  • Security/Maintenance -- responsible for maintaining a clean and safe shelter environment; HS diploma with good communication skills required; crisis management training a plus.
  • Shift Supervisors -- responsible for supervision and management of all evening and nighttime shelter staff, including scheduling.  HS diploma with good communication skills and some supervisory experience required.
  • Youth Worker -- evenings and weekends; develop and implement group activities and programming for school-age children living in an emergency shelter.  High school diploma and experience working with children in a group setting required.
