Our events help those in poverty and experiencing homelessness

Doing good doesn’t have to feel like work. We have lots of ways for you to support our mission and services and have some fun at the same time. If this appeals to you, then you are going to love these opportunities to join us in our mission to create change and help alleviate hunger, homelessness, unemployment, and childhood poverty in our community.

Empty Bowls is our annual signature event

It’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and help those in need. Empty Bowls is a family-friendly event that raises funds to benefit all of our programs and assist those struggling in the Baltimore area to move beyond poverty. Savor a wonderful selection of soups supplied by local restaurants, enjoy activities, and take home a hand-crafted ceramic bowl made by local artists, students, and volunteers as a symbol of the hunger of poverty.

The next Empty Bowls will take place Saturday, March 23, 2019,  at the Timonium Fairgrounds.
