Baltimore Clayworks is hosting their Second Annual Bowl-A-Thon to benefit Empty Bowls.  Several hands-on, bowl-making workshops will be offered at Clayworks in support of Empty Bowls.

During each 1 ½ hour workshop, participants will utilize molds and stamps to hand-build bowls.  A nominal fee of $10 per workshop will be charged to cover the cost of materials and firing.

You must reserve a spot in a workshop, as spaces are limited.  Adults and children over the age of five are welcome to participate.  A parent or other accompanying adult should plan to assist children under the age of eight.

We are currently registering for the following workshops:
Saturday, February 25
1:45-3:15 p.m.

To register and pay for a workshop, please fill out this form -

If you have questions about the bowl workshop process, please contact Mary Cloonan at mary.cloonan@baltimoreclayworks.org.  After the hand-built bowls have been fired, volunteers will also be needed to help glaze the bowls.  If you are interested in returning to Clayworks for a glazing session, please contact Mary Cloonan or Marita Riggs for details.

Have a pottery painting party on behalf of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore and Empty Bowls!

Bowls can be made at Hot Pots studio in Timonium or you can host a “paint your own” party in your home, church, school or business. Bowls made for Empty Bowls are available at a discounted price of $10 per bowl from these Empty Bowls sponsors. Please contact them directly.
