Samaritan
Center
Founded
in 2000, the Samaritan Center is located at 19 West
Franklin Street in downtown Baltimore City. The Center
is a partnership program of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore
and Catholic Charities. Through this collaborative effort,
the Center offers emergency intervention and support
to more than 30,000 persons each year.
The Samaritan Center's purpose is to provide coordinated,
comprehensive, and effective assistance to low-income
and homeless persons. The Center helps persons in Baltimore
City resolve emergency needs while supporting efforts
to increase their self-sufficiency.
