by Program: Camp St. Vincent
Camp St. Vincent is looking for Volunteer Counselors for the 2010 camp session. Volunteer Counselors are scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM, for at least one two-week session. Counselors are more than welcome to join us for more than this minimum two-week commitment.
Principal duties include:

Welcome campers each day of arrival, help campers to find their groups, get to know each camper's name, and introduce campers to each other.

Review the camp program daily, help all campers maintain appropriate hygiene, and check daily for illness and injury.

Assist campers in all camp activities, and participates fully in all aspects of the camp program.

Maintain a leadership role and assists the Instructors in implementing the educational program.

Participate in reflection and educational activities on social justice issues daily.

Work closely with Instructors to implement the weekly check and incentive policy.

Promote good camp spirit and unity; and encourages respect for personal property, camp equipment and facilities.
