The Empty Bowls Campaign

What began as a simple idea grew into a beloved annual tradition for 20 years, as Empty Bowls served as SVDP’s signature event, raising funds and awareness to address hunger in our community.

As the needs of our community grow, we must focus our resources on the most effective ways to advance our mission, ensuring that every dollar raised creates the deepest possible impact. Despite our best efforts, Empty Bowls is no longer an event we can continue to sustain as a fundraiser. We are proud of the impact this event has made over the last two decades and are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make it a success.

While we will no longer hold the Empty Bowls event, the need is still great, and we rely on community support to help fund our critical programs. To carry the momentum forward, we will continue to raise funds and awareness for our vital programs and services through the Empty Bowls Campaign.

The campaign will culminate in our premier tasting event, Candlelight & Clay.
