If you’re a young professional who cares about eliminating poverty in the Baltimore area, the SVDP Emerging Leaders Committee is looking for you.

As a member of the Emerging Leaders Committee, you’ll feed the SVDP talent pipeline that will help write the next chapter in our fight against poverty. You’ll engage in monthly volunteer opportunities, quarterly networking events, and happy hours sprinkled throughout the year with other like-minded individuals. As we work together to develop a better understanding of the issues that surround us, we can forge more meaningful solutions to address poverty in the Baltimore community.

Upcoming Events:

Tuesday, June 25th, 2024, 5:00 – 8pm: Community Clean-Up and Mixer.
Join the Emerging Leaders Committee at the Beans & Bread Center (400 S Bond St.) for a community clean-up followed by drinks at a neighborhood bar.

Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, 6:00 – 8pm: Bowl Painting & Happy Hour.
Join the ELC at Checkerspot Brewing to enjoy craft beers and paint ceramic bowls for the annual SVDP Empty Bowls fundraiser.
