WJZ’s Cristina Mendez met with Isaiah Green to talk about his journey with homelessness. A military veteran, Green, 23, came back to Baltimore unable to find any work or housing. He turned to St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore’s Promise Housing and quickly learned to become self sufficient, pulling himself out of homelessness. Seeing how there are others like him and wanting to make a change, Green became a member of the Youth Action Board which aims to improve the city’s response to the homelessness epidemic.
