Looking for a rewarding service project for your group, class, organization, or business to help people in need? We need groups to participate in volunteer opportunities and to collect and package items that make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Service Projects

Bring cheer to the 3 and 4-year olds attending Head Start! All of our classrooms are in need of basic educational supplies: crayons, coloring books, craft supplies, and books.  You can also choose a small gift for each child in the class that they will receive as a special holiday present.  Each classroom has 20 children. Click here for more information.

Welcome New Babies
We celebrate the expecting moms at our Head Start programs with educational baby showers celebrating their new arrivals and learning about newborn and infant safety, nutrition and wellness. New gifts for our moms are greatly appreciated including: onesies, bottles, diapers, wipes, strollers, car seats, baby carriers, and Target gift cards. Baby shower items are also needed including: decorations, party supplies, balloons, diaper cakes, and sheet cakes. Contact Rebecca for more information.

Lunch Bag Briggade
More than 100 breakfast bags are used daily at Beans & Bread and more than 300 bagged lunches are distributed each Wednesday. Click for more information on what goes into a breakfast or lunch bag.

Project Fresh Start
Beans & Bread distributes over 200 personal care bags each month to our homeless guests.  The following travel-size items are always needed:  shampoo, bars of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, disposable razors and deodorant.  Items can be collected individually or put together in ziploc bags containing one of each item. Contact Sierra for more information.

Welcome Home
Create a New Home Kit for our families moving into new homes. Click here for a guideline of items and contact Laura Starsoneck to coordinate drop-off.

It’s Kid Stuff!
We serve lots of children across all of our programs. Our needs vary and can include diapers, educational items, and swimsuits. Visit our Amazon Wishlists and choose the program on the left hand side. Contact the appropriate Volunteer Coordinator to give or for more information.

All it takes is one person to suggest a project that can make a huge change in the lives of so many. Be that person. Contact giving@vincentbaltimore.org today.

Some Generous Donors

Coldwell Banker food drive

Coldwell Banker conducted a drive and donated $1,000 worth of water and canned goods to Sarah’s Hope, Hannah More which provided two weeks of food to families in their new homes after being discharged from the shelter.

Erickson painting project

Erickson Living Corporate Office dedicated a day to painting our Sarah's Hope, Hannah More family shelter. Sherwin Williams donated 50 gallons of paint and supplies to make it happen!
