Innterim House consists of 10 units of transitional housing for homeless families who need additional support and time to transition from shelter to permanent housing.
Innterim Gardens consists of 10, community-based, permanent supportive housing units targeted for families who have experienced chronic homelessness, have physical or mental disabilities, or need longer-term support to stay housed and live independently.
In addition, both programs offer intensive case management services, employment services, life skills coaching, linkages to behavioral health services, rental assistance and other supportive services.
For more than 25 years, Innterim Housing and Family Services has been a beacon of hope for homeless families in Baltimore County who are working hard to move to self-sufficiency. In July 2017, St. Vincent de Paul acquired the programs of Innterim Housing & Family Services (Innterim) and invested $140,000 renovating bathrooms, public areas, and offices.
A follow-on phase of construction will include residential spaces and a kitchen expansion.
